As an interior solutions contractor, we quickly built a reputation for quality along with the flexibility required to adapt to the changing needs of our clients, particularly on complex refurbishment projects. Following the success of JLS and a noticeable growth in the acoustics market, our directors felt that a more specialised approach was needed to deliver high quality and innovative acoustic treatment to the demanding market.</p>

<p>As a result, 2017 saw the launch of Husht Acoustics. Founded to help overcome a range of noise related challenges that customers face across the education, hospitality, retail, commercial and residential sectors. From concept to calculation and then through to completion, Husht Acoustics deliver optimal acoustic treatment in partnership with some of Europe’s leading acoustic panel manufacturers such as Saint-Gobain Ecophon and Stil Acoustics.</p>
<p>Knowing just how difficult it can be to source the right acoustic products at the right price, our e-commerce site <a href="https://www.muffle.co.uk/">Muffle</a> was then born in 2019. Having now developed into a successful website operating in 7 countries in just 2 years, stocking over 20 brands and every acoustic solution possible, we are growing every day and continuously expanding into new and exciting markets – soon to include the USA.</p>
<p>The combination of these three ventures mean we can provide a complete interior solution, from quality structural framing systems (SFS), drylining, suspended ceilings, plastering, fire protection and air sealing provided by JLS, to acoustic assessments and installation from Husht Acoustics to supplying innovative and unique acoustic products from Muffle.</p>

<p>With the three business ventures comes three business units, which are able to provide expert support and service to our customers and clients. Our 5 directors have extensive experience in the construction and acoustics industry. Combined, Andy and Frank have an impressive 22 years of experience in the acoustics industry, both previously working for Saint-Gobain Ecophon. In addition to this, Jim and Rob have an expansive knowledge of operations and project management and construction as a whole, ensuring they can effectively deliver a project in a timely manner and to the highest standards. Andrea brings with her a comprehensive knowledge of compliance and HR practices, so we can ensure our businesses run smoothly!</p>
<p>Collectively, we have been proud to achieve several accreditations and memberships including an FIS membership, Constructionline Gold membership, CHAS accreditation and an Ecophon Partnership in Contracting (EPIC). Achieving these accreditations is incredibly important to us as these critical marks of quality help us to demonstrate the expertise and commitment within our businesses. Continuing to develop both as a group and internally, including training our staff to the highest possible standard, means we can provide exceptional customer service from conception to delivery and aftercare.</p>

<p>Together, we have worked on numerous prestigious projects where the internal construction has been undertaken by JLS, the acoustic products supplied by Muffle and installed by Husht.  Amongst these projects is the brand-new creative arts building for <a href="https://www.hushtacoustics.co.uk/portfolio/lbu/">Leeds Beckett University</a>!</p>

<p>Based in the centre of Leeds, we were involved in this £80 million development alongside George Downing Construction and Hawkins\Brown to ensure that the 9-storey creative arts development is ready for staff and students to return to University. Husht Acoustics were heavily involved in installing acoustic treatment throughout the building, as design choices made by Hawkins\Brown saw the building wrought with open spaces, glass partitions and a large atrium – all of which pose acoustical challenges. Using products supplied by Muffle, such as MuffleRafts and Autex Quietspace,  we were able to optimise learning spaces so that students can learn the best way they can!</p>
<p>Alongside acoustic treatment, JLS were involved in installing several products from Siniat partitions and mass barrier ceilings throughout the building! Bringing our three disciplines together means we are able to be involved in various projects, from start to finish.</p>

<p><strong>The Role</strong></p>
<p>A busy and varied role where you will take control of a number of incoming main contractor tenders and client direct enquiries.</p>
<p>Our businesses work with a variety of clients and manufacturers and our aim is to offer the most suitable or specified product to ensure we as a business can offer and maintain a high level of customer service.</p>
<p>Working in a busy office where we feel it is important to have fun whilst being extremely productive, this is a key role with a focus on securing product specified contracts with main contractors</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>
<p><strong> </strong>Work Procurement</p>
<ul>
<li>Update and manage the enquiry register</li>
<li>Pursue opportunities to obtain tender documents</li>
<li>Organise incoming tender enquiries</li>
<li>Completion and submission of PQQs (with office admin support)</li>
<li>Maintain and form relationships with manufacturers and clients</li>
<li>Develop and assist our clients and main contractors with their requirements and guide them to the correct product type if needed</li>
</ul>
<p>Pre-Contract</p>
<ul>
<li>Maintain a material supplier’s database and have a good understanding of our range of products</li>
<li>Assess tender documents to ensure sufficient information available to prepare a tender</li>
<li>Take off quantities</li>
<li>Prepare and issue sub-contract enquiries and assessment of quotations upon receipt</li>
<li>Prepare and issue material supply enquiries and assessment of quotations upon receipt</li>
<li>You will be pricing a variety of acoustic related products</li>
<li>Complete tender documents for submission</li>
<li>Prepare specifications and/or contractors proposal’s</li>
<li>Submit tenders and follow up</li>
<li>Post tender negotiation’s</li>
<li>Handover of successful projects to the management/contract team &amp; assist where required throughout the project</li>
<li>Material procurement</li>
<li>Commercial tasks including project valuations in conjunction with the Contracts/QS team</li>
