Background
Ecuity Consulting advise businesses when it comes to energy and the environment, offering a comprehensive range of services for organisations in both the public and private sector. In 2019, the business moved offices, and wanted their new space to perform as best as possible in all aspects. As part of the design of the new space, acoustic considerations were made, and a number of high quality acoustic products were requested as part of the install to ensure comfortable sound levels in the open plan areas and meeting spaces. Here at Husht, we were delighted to install products from Ecophon, Autex and Fluffo.
Our Solution
Working with Rhino Interiors, we installed Ecophon Solo, Autex Composition, and Fluffo Soft Hexa. Ecophon Solo is one of the market’s leading acoustic rafts, and we suspended these from the ceiling, which ensures an effective acoustic solution on ceilings that feature services such as air conditioning, without the need for a suspended grid system. Autex Composition is an acoustic covering, which was installed in the Ecuity offices as a ceiling solution, turning an alcove into an acoustic booth. Finally, Fluffo Soft wall panels are a tactile and attractive option, in this case fitted to various walls in the office to create attractive decor that absorbs sound, cutting down on reverberation.
