Background
The Wave in Coventry is a new £37m water park, which features a host of thrilling slides, as well as a state-of-the-art leisure and fitness centre, comprising the Lifestyles gym and Mana spa. A 25m pool is situated on the site, and was designed to offer a calmer environment than the exciting water slide area.
Our Solution
Husht Acoustics were brought in to install an attractive acoustic solution on the swimming pool ceiling in order to combat the typically high sound levels found in leisure centres. In this case, our expert installers fitted the Frontier™ baffle by Autex. Made from Autex Cube™ PET, these baffles offer excellent sound absorption as well as a stylish appearance. To match the space, the Talus design was chosen, which creates a wave effect across the ceiling, reflecting the pool below. The end result is a beautiful space that retains a calm atmosphere.
